Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR AN ONLINE COURSE?

Click the link to "Book Online", then select a course from the menu of online courses. A link to the online registration form is provided following the course description. You will need to complete the form and submit payment by credit card. You will receive an email acknowledgement when your registration is complete.

WHEN DO ONLINE WEB SESSIONS BEGIN/END?

Online training times are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Most courses begin at 10:00 am EST and end at 5:00 pm EST, with a Lunch Break from 1:30-2:00pm. The trainer will schedule 15-minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). This is subject to change based on class needs.

HOW WILL I ACCESS THE WEB SESSION ONLINE?

About 48 hours prior to the course is scheduled to begin, you will receive an email with your Course Meeting Link, password, and instructions for accessing the course site. The course site will be available to you the morning the day the course is scheduled to begin.

WHAT SOFTWARE DO I NEED FOR AN ONLINE COURSE?

MBS uses Wix Live Meeting's video conferencing software to host web sessions. You will not need to download any software.

Attendees will benefit from having the Windows version of Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 or 365 installed, but a web-based option may be available. Email us at monarchbiz1@gmail.com if  there are additional questions.

WILL I NEED A MIC AND/OR WEBCAM TO ATTEND?

No. Attendees will have mic and webcams disabled upon entering the meeting, but can enable those features as needed for exercises. We strongly encourage using your mic and webcam to interact with the class – it’s more fun that way! For the most part, the trainer will rely on the chat box in the meeting to talk to attendees.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY COURSE DATE?

We understand that things come up & plans change. If you need to reschedule a web session that you have booked, simply email us at monarchbiz1@gmail.com within 48 hours of the course time. You may re-schedule within 30 days of the original class date. Course payment will be held until you reschedule and complete the rescheduled course.

CAN I ATTEND AN ONLINE TRAINING SESSION IF I HAVE A APPLE COMPUTER?

Classes will be taught using the Windows version of the software. There are some Apple functionality workarounds that may be covered. If you have an Apple computer, it is recommended to book a small group or private course to ensure time to review those functions.
